Starting Strength Day 13, 10-29-08

Squat 3 x 5 - 200lbs
Bench Press 3 x 5 - 130lbs
Deadlift 1 x 5 - 285lbs

I did a little math and realized I was progressing too slow on the deadlift compared to my squat.  So I added 10lbs to the deadlift instead of the usual 5lbs.

Then I couldn't resist, so I did:

Deadlift - 625lbs PR!!

Here is the video:

If you've never tried that before, you should.  Lots of fun!  I'll be doing more of the old lifts in the future, especially when I get off this Starting Strength cycle.  This is much more impressive though...for a 1210 lb deadlift, click HERE.

Nice Vid bro!

You gotta upload it to youtube too so that I can add it to my blog.

Good lifting with you last night!

Ha! I saw that bar just sitting there and I thought "holy crap-that starting strength program is amazing!" Little did I realize you'd have a partner.

Still, synchronized 300+ per person is no joke.

Nice work-glad this is going well for you.

Dan...that was cool. And just so you know, there is a two man clean and jerk! That'll be even tougher.

Thanks Brendhan..it was a blast to lift that puppy. We would have tried a bit heavier but that was the heaviest weight to space combo we could come up with. haha Apparently I need to buy some more iron 45lb plates.
