CA WOD #3 7-22-09

Week 1, Day 3

  • Jerk - heavy single - 65 x 3, 85 x 3, 105 x 3, 115 x 3, 135 x 2, 155, 175, 190, 202.5(F) 80% of that 1 x 3 - 155lbs
  • 2-position snatch (floor, mid-thigh) - 60% x 3 sets - 90lbs
  • 2-position clean (floor, mid-thigh) - 60% x 3 sets - 120lbs

Was supposed to do the following metcon, but ran out of time.  If by some stroke of luck I have enough mojo to do it after work tomorrow morning, I will.

4 rounds for time of:

300 m row
5 push press - 75% - 135lbs


Mustered up the discipline to do the metcon after work.  I'm glad I did.

190 and past looks like you are pressing it put instead of getting underneath and catching the bar.

I got sidetracked today. because I wasn't counting on having to spend another day traveling 100 miles back and forth for a meeting.

I'll hit this one tomorrow.

one cool thing about this 10 week cycle.. you can take a day off whenever necessary and hit it on the flip side.
